Original Artwork Shipping & Return Policy
This Shipping & Return Policy applies only to the ORIGINAL paintings and drawings on this website. All other items on this site like prints, apparel, accessories, home and office, etc do not fall under this policy.

Your artwork will normally be shipped within three to five business days if your order is placed by 12:00 pm CST. If your order is placed after that time or on a non-business day your order may be delayed 1-2 days. Please note that this can vary during holidays or any unforeseen circumstances, but we will try to notify you if this is the case.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
Shipping costs for original artwork fall under the shipping policies for all items/orders on this website. The bulk of shipping/handling etc is included in the listed price.
WHERE DO WE SHIP?
Shipping on this website currently only includes the 48 contiguous United States. If you wish to purchase a piece of original artwork and you need it shipped outside the 48 contiguous United States, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we can give you a quote on how much additional shipping would cost, along with any other added fees it would cost.
If you would like to arrange for local pickup for your original artwork in the Edmond, Oklahoma area, please contact us at email@example.com before purchasing the artwork to arrange a pickup time & place. Pickup will be arranged at a public location in the Edmond, Ok area.
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your painting, you may return the painting for a complete refund within 7 days of the delivery date. This refund is limited to the purchase price of the painting only (minus shipping & shipping insurance) which is included in the original purchase price) and excludes return shipping charges and/or any customs charges, which are the responsibility of the buyer. We will let you know the return amount before you return the product. Once the returned artwork is received at the Artist’s studio in good condition, we will process your refund. The refund will be issued in the same form as the original payment (when possible) within 30 days of receipt of return.
If you encounter any problems or discrepancies with your artwork or would like to start a return, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 calendar days of the receipt of your artwork or the expected delivery date. Please do not attempt to return the artwork without contacting us first, as we cannot process any returns if it is not done through the proper procedure. If your artwork is damaged in transit, we will ask for photos and other information upon receiving your email with the issues at hand and let you know how to proceed further to resolve the issue.
APPEARANCE OF ARTWORKS/PRODUCTS: Cara Elaine Art has made reasonable efforts in order to display the colors of the original artworks & designs accurately on this website. Each individual monitor, cell phone, tablet or other device may display colors differently. Cara Elaine Art is not responsible for the color accuracy on your computer monitor, cell phone, tablet or other device.
Lost in Transit
If your artwork is lost in transit, please notify us at email@example.com within 7 business days of your artwork’s estimated delivery date. Please allow 3 business days after your product’s estimated arrival time to allow for unforeseen delays in transit. Although this in not common, it can happen. Please attempt to contact the carrier in which your item is being shipped through and/or your local post office before contacting us, as that will be the first thing we ask.
Undeliverable And Returned Packages
If your shipment is returned to us due to an unclaimed package, insufficient or incorrect/undeliverable address or refused package, we will contact you via the email you used upon purchase to see if you would like your artwork reshipped. Once we have confirmed with you the updated address and/or information, we will reship your artwork. Cara Elaine Art is not liable for returned packages & therefore all reshipment costs will be the customer's liability. In order to have your package reshipped to you, please reply to the email regarding the returned package within 7 business days. If you do not reply within 7 business days to the email or you decide you do not want the artwork reshipped, we will issue a refund – minus the cost of original shipping & insurance of the artwork (as the purchase price included shipping/insurance and we cannot refund that amount). Shipping/insurance charges vary on the artwork value & size. We will let you know this amount before your refund is issued (including any extra charges accrued for any customs/extra charges if not contiguous US).
